Hi Liam, just home from the gig in vicar street...... most definetly in the top 2 of your best gigs. Joint with the gig i was at in a small venue in New York in August 2007. I think the venue was called the box. I had the privilege of being there during the sound check that day (by pure chance as i was after a couple of tickets), We met you and the rest of the guys in the bar after the gig (where we fed you all pizza)
Anyway, it was a fantastic gig tonight. loved the orchestra.
looking forward to seeing you in cork in july, the tickets arrived in the mail today!

it drives me crazy that you don't have comments on your blog. well, that's a bit extreme. i guess it just irks me.
anyway, i wouldn't even think about whether it was 'worth' the death. it's not like they knew he was going to die before hand and had to decide if it was going to be worth making the movie, you know?
on the other hand, stuff like the brooklyn bridge and the empire state building, they could pretty much have guessed some people would die. and those people were a lot less working of their own free will, you know? but i think we consider that worth it, right?
this guy just happened to die. he could have died trying stuff at home. he was a sfx guy. they know there are risks.

Regarding streamlined language: Living in Buffalo, I watch alot of Canadian TV. I saw an ad in which they refer to a website as "triple W" instead of WWW- this saves 4 syllables and much tongue work. Therefore, I'm switching to "triple W". I love Canada.
